- After a year and a half of fights, litigation, consistent efforts to prevent the loss of my mind, and one very amusing, drunken raid, I'm thrilled to be Finally Free! Unfortunately, however, I still have to deal with Ex on a fairly regular basis, which means that I'll have more stories to post in addition to past stories that I have yet to post. Stick around for the ride, because I have a feeling that it's going to require seatbelts and copious amounts of wine!

I'm emerging from my own 10-month long cave of hardship to catch up on your life and tell you that I'm so happy for you that the nightmare is over. I wish I could have been there for you during the process. Distance sucks, as does being too broke from living the soul-sucking life of a working mom to afford plane tickets. But the important thing is that you got through it in one piece and you survived. I never had any doubts that you would. On the other hand, you may not survive once I get my hands on you for keeping your accident a secret for so long!!!!!!!!!!!! I love you. Congratulations.

I discovered your blog back in December or January, I think, and read it obsessively. It was my companion in long rehearsals, at work, pretty much any time I had a spare moment. And, while I absolutely adore your last post, photograph and all, well, it's no longer Black History Month, and the content therefore no longer relevant! My OCD will NOT ALLOW THIS!
